Our Organization
In the US, Edica-Garnett Partners is composed of a core group of former Arthur D. Little Partners and managers, as well as former operating company  executives. Each of the approximately 25 associates in our group have well over 15 years of experience. Our overseas partners are similarly experienced. The managing partners are Marc Kalton and David Hurwitz.
David Hurwitz, Managing Director

Mr. Hurwitz has over thirty-five years of industry and consulting experience. He focuses on corporate growth, strategic planning, M&A, strategy development & implementation, technology management and innovation, commercial development and customer management. He has industry expertise in specialty and fine chemicals, life sciences (i.e., pharma, pharma intermediates, biotech and diagnostics), formulated and engineered systems, polymers, paints, coatings and adhesives and the chemical value chain. Mr. Hurwitz is a former Arthur D. Little partner and has corporate experience at DeSoto, Inc., Union Carbide and Pioneer Plastics Corporation. He is a member of the AIChE, ACS, and The Society of the Chemical Industry.

Marc Kalton, Managing Director

Mr. Kalton has over thirty years of industry and consulting experience. He focuses on globalization, strategy and business development, including M&A and venture structuring. He has extensive North American, Asian and Latin American experience, including both B2B and B2C new business development in these regions. His industry experience encompasses chemicals & energy, life sciences, food safety diagnostics, retail, industrial products, automotive and Asian outsourcing of both manufactured products and services. Mr. Kalton is a former Arthur D. Little partner and Market Director for Asia-Pacific. His corporate experience was at Belco Petroleum and Union Carbide. He has served on the boards of both US and foreign companies, currently on the Board of AATC, a mining and mining development company and CoGyn Pharmaceuticals, a developer of drug delivery systems for women's health in emerging markets. He is a member of the Society of the Chemical Industry.

Robert Karlsruher, VP  Business Development

Mr.Karlsruher is working with EGP to help drive growth through expanded client engagement. Rob has more than 25 years of experience developing and delivering professional services to multi-national companies in the chemicals and materials industries; including market assessments, operations, marketing effectiveness, business strategy and commercial and technical due diligence for M&A.

Prior to EGP, Rob was with Strategic Analysis, Inc. Rob holds an MBA from Rutgers University in Finance and Marketing and a BA in Chemistry from Drew University.

Rob is a member of the Chemical Marketing and Economics Group, the Licensing Executives Society, Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals, and the Philadelphia Senior Executive Group.
